Warriors!!!

We are the luckiest school today!! 

The Warriors came and gave us jackets and meridian energy gave us a drink bottle! Thank you so much kidscan!!! 

Philippa Werry Visit

We had a visit from an Author called Philippa Werry this week. 

Philippa has written lots of books and stories! Some of her most recent ones are Dawn Parade, Anzac Day and Waitangi Day. 

She told us how important reading and writing is and encouraged us to keep trying even when it gets hard in our learning. 

You can make a happy cake!

Rimu reading group read a book about a happy cake. Today they followed the instructions and made the yummy cake with Angela! Our class loved smelling it and eating it.
